I am pretty excited about this magazine.
Truthfully, I am excited about any Christmas special issue. My Martha holiday issue was misplaced before I ever got a chance to look at it. I don't know if all the projects are new for the Matthew Mead issue or if they are reprints from Country Home, but they are lovely. I love how he combines decorating and style with crafting.
I know that some of the pieces in the JunkMarket magazine this summer were reprints. I unknowingly bought a few of the items pictured at one of their sales about two years ago. "Hey isn't that chipped paint thing by your front door?"
I was so excited to see it in the magazine when it first came out, I framed the little picture. Probably the closest I will ever get to my house in print.
Oh my goodness! I have not yet seen this on the newsstands! I am a huge Matthew Mead fan. Almost every room I have ever completely flipped out over was either styled by or designed by Matthew Mead.

i love holiday magazines, which is the reason why i just subsribed to 5 magazines (sigh, they have that special 5$ deal for more after you buy one full subscription) anyhow, i bought the martha holiday guide and to be honest its great visually, but some of the ideas I would feel silly giving to anyone because she makes even the ugliest projects look cool with packaging and photographs- but, i also found out that every single one of the holiday projects is on her website.
:) have a good holiday season-lorrie
