is that they aren't very Thanksgivingy. These are my favorite dishes. We use them for everyday and I actually have enough to serve a large dinner party. They are recent, although retired, aqua Fiestaware. I was a little worried about what to do for our table until this:
1. Kristin posted a picture of swap goodies I had sent her earlier this fall. I had forgotten about it, but the orange and aqua fabric was just what I needed. So I had to break my ban on no Amy Butler fabric, (because of her whole, "for non-commercial use only". Why make such amazingly lovely things and then limit their use? I mean I know why, but it makes me love them all the more. They are always just the perfect shade of green, or just the right blend of modern and vintage, and anything else I find will pale in comparison.)
2. Last week I had bought this pile of wool because it was too lovely to pass up.
3. Blair at Wisecraft had made a banner of woolen leaves using a template from Martha and now we are set.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I don't know for sure, but I think Amy Butler changed her policy and now allows her fabric to be used any way you want. So now you can sew with her lovely fabric on things to sell!!
