The big one has a school program in which they are supposed to be bears. I don't know who makes these programmatic decisions, but at some point, usually around say, 8 years old, children no longer want to dress up like bears. I offered to make bear headbands to ease the pain. I could totally visualize how it would work.
But last night after two failed attempts, I was getting a little worried. The dad even went on-line and researched adhesives - what a guy.
Then this morning at the bus stop, I figured it out, and after another trip to Joanns, and more felt and more glue, this is the result.
I realize now, as the little one models, that it really looks rather Mickey Mouse-ish. And as I look at my dried glue and black faux fur covered fingers, I am certain the glue tube said "finger saving"
i think they turned out nice!
