Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by my little booth at Craftravaganza yesterday.  It was so much fun.  Sorry if you wanted a headband!  Who knew?!  Well actually the dad and my morning helper Tammy, told me they would be a big hit.  There are a few in my Etsy shop and I will have more available mid-week.  Thanks again.

P.S.  Special thanks to the three people who brought in friends of the blog coupons for free headbands.  I am so sorry I didn't think to stop and make sure I met you!  Let me know who you were.

I helped do a little promo for the Craftravaganza this morning on Channel 9.  If I looked like a dork, don't tell me. 

But I had to much fun seeing Carol from Sassy Art Goddes, who I met at Crafty Planet a few weeks ago. 

Meeting Nora from Bodylish, whose stuff smells delicious. 

Seeing Michelle use a real Gocco.

Facing my fears with Rebecca of Hazel and Mevin's Room, who makes sock monkeys.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I am freaked out by sock monkeys, but the process was pretty cool. 

And meeting the girls behind Earwax Circus, who just opened I Like You in south Minneapolis, which doesn't seem to have a website yet.  Super fun morning.

From reading comments below I learned Kristen will be out of town during the upcoming Craftravaganza.  I am so bummed.  I have a secret little fantasy that someone who reads my blog will come up to me at the event and say "Lisa?, hi I am ____ from _____" and we will squeal and give each other little hugs. 

I am also really afraid that no one will stop by my booth and I will a sad little wallflower in a booth full of brightly colored bibs.  So just in case I have a "Friends of the blog" coupon. 

The dad suggested a coupon (he works in PR) but I pooh-oohed the idea until I saw one on Amanda's blog a few weeks ago.  So come see me okay?

Even better yet

Well I am even more excited about this.  It is the first real printed piece I have ever had for my little business.  They just arrived and I think they are super cute.  The dad helped me design them, but they are 100% inspired by the ones I saw, created by Amanda on Every Little Thing.  So thanks Amanda, thanks the dad, thanks neighbor friend who had a coupon for Vistaprints.  I am so proud to have these.

Something else to get excited about

Have you seen Small magazine?  Design and crafters and beautiful photograhy and blogs and little people.  I haven't been this excited about something in quite a while.

Whose got the button?

My package for Shim + Sons vintage button exchange, who, by the way is a genius.  Mailed a few days late, because everytime I drove by the postoffice the last few days, the line was out-the-door long and my time was short.  They are headed to Eleanor, who makes amazing paper goods. 

Super cute buttons from Treadle Yard Good, local girls.  Kept behind the counter, so you have to ask for them.  Red and aqua seam vintage binding, red and aqua notebooks.  Fun new Alexander Henry fabric.  A red and aqua headband.  And dark chocolate covered Altoids, which sound great, although I haven't tried them.  Based upon a recommendation from Marie.

Extra strength cuteness

The show that I am participating in at the end of the month asks that each vendor provide an item to go in gift bags for the first 100 people.  This is my contribution.  Little felt flower magnets on extra strength button magnets.  Cute and useful.

Oh my

Let's discuss John Legend and how sexy he is.  We saw him in concert last night along with Corrine Bailey Ray, who is not sexy, but very sweet and dear.  A little something for everyone!

Just a few ideas

I have been busy getting ready for a few upcoming shows, and a few birthday parties, but it hasn't kept me from dreaming of spring shopping and noticing a few fun items that are certainly on my list.

FOR OUR FEET:

Tretorn sneakers.  I had some when I was young and they are still classic.  Also available for little ones.  Tempting if I hadn't first seen these.

   

FOR THE HOUSE:
