A little Saturday morning shopping with my sister, who now lives in Portland. There isn't much that Minneapolis has, that Portland doesn't. We are going here, here, and here, and here and here.
Anthropologie and Ikea used to be two of our big stops, but Anthropologie is now open in downtown and Ikea is coming to Portland later this summer. Surprisingingly Portland doesn't have one of these, which makes me quite proud. If any one else has a suggestion for a cool, funky, artsy store - quick let me know. We will also be making a Taco John's stop, because as my sister says, Taco Bell IS NOT Taco John's.
Hi Lisa! I'm going home for the first time in more than a year and a half in mid-July - I can't wait!! Thanks so much for the links - totally going to check out the kids clothing store and the Danish place. I'm also excited for dinner at Chang Mai Thai, ice-cream at Sebastian Joe's and Patina next door. I've also heard good things about the Russell+Hazel store at 50th & France and The Scrapbook Shoppe in St. Paul. Hope you and your sister had a great time!
