I put away the last of the true Halloween decorations and things were a little bare around here, until I found these little blue turkeys for $2. BLUE! Up til now I have just kind of left out some of the Halloween stuff until it was time to bring out Christmas. But blue matches thing around here perfectly. Do you suppose there are other blue vintage Thanksgiving things out there?
I made these muffins for a meeting on Thursday morning. I used dried cranberries and raisins instead of currants, because currants are ish. But on the way to the meeting I heard that it was Bundt Cake day in Minnesota. If only I had known!
I found Butter Rum lifesavers in the checkout line at the grocery store this morning. I loved those when I was little. I have one child who loves butterscotch flavored things, so I have high hopes she might like these too.
I have recently completely depleted my infant onsie stockpile in the basement, and even though it makes all the sense in the world to buy in bulk because of the savings, the actual totals always make me a little sick to my stomach. I ordered on Wednesday and the giant box arrived today. They must have been sitting in a truck just down the street, waiting for my email.
When you order onesies in bulk, how many onesies come, if I might ask?
I had a onesie shower for Josh, before he was born. Since he was #3 they showered me with prayers and onesies each friend had crafted for Josh. :) It was very sweet.
