With the school carnival and Halloween and all the various parties and costume need complete, I am back to regular days. The biggest Minnesota craft show of the season is in about a month. As a result I am dividing my time between cleaning up everything that fell by the wayside during October, cooking some actual meals and preparing for December.
Since I have come to realize that my ironing board may never leave the family room, but I really love the vintage aqua one I have and didn't want to replace the frame, I decided to pretty it up. The current cover was very old and very sad.
I searched on-line for a new cover. I tried to find a pattern. I thought about making one myself, but then I discovered sweet Carrie of Hestia Houseworks. She made me a new cover out of one of my favorite Amy Butler dots, to match some of the pillows in our family room.
I am in love!
