Two months!

It has been nearly two months since I wrote anything.  Pitiful.  But there's no excuse.

Here is what I am currently obsessing over.  Black and white rugs. 

 

We already have this one in our family room.  This is an old picture and the furniture is not in this arrangement anymore, but I took it to be cleaned during the ktichen remodel and still haven't put it back down.  It cost more to clean than it did to buy.  It is the Pottery Barn version of the IKEA Rand rug, or maybe vice verses?

 

I also love this one, that I see on Making it Lovely and Lay Baby Lay, which has got to be one of the most beautifully put together blogs I have seen recently. 

 

They go very well with the West Elm towels that I have added as kitchen towels.  There is a black and white stripe one too.

 
And the runner from Ikea that I added to the kitchen table.  We have a new printer that is less than user-friendly, so I am still figuring out how to download pictures.  Once I do, I will show how cute the runner looks with the pot I painted blue and the maidenhair fern that I will eventually kill.   Hopefully I figure out the printer before then.
