The little one wanted a sky themed birthday. I was having some trouble envisioning that, until I saw the birthday cake my friend Alicia's husband made. Then Nicole of Making it Lovely, began planning a rainbow party for her daughter. If I had seen the balloon rainbow Gabrielle had for her June, Iwould have incorporate that as well.
The aforementioned flowers, looked much better when arranged on the table. The tablecloth is Dwell for Target. It seems to be last season, although I just bought it. Rainbow M&M were layered in IKEA glasses that we use for wine. Lanterns and tissue flowers are from Luna Bazaar.
Our local Cold Stone matched the colors perfectly.
The treat bags were super fun to put together with personalized bubbles ala Blonde Designs, flower lollypops, sheppard girls headbands and custom jump ropes from The Jump Rope Store.
Special shoutout to the loud talker moms at gymnastics who I overheard talking about the jump ropes. Thanks ladies. It was almost worth putting up with your very loud, overly personal conversations all year long, because the jump ropes were a huge hit.
